Welcome! We're excited for another great academic year with RRCC and we are looking forward to serving you!

Although the APT Council does not meet over the summer (May-July), feel free to reach out if you have questions, suggestions or any concerns.

Note: As of June 2024, we are officially "APT" rather than "ATP", per Human Resources. Please allow us some time to get all documentation updated to the proper acronym.

Statement of Purpose

The Red Rocks Community College Administrative / Technical Professional Council's purpose is to provide collaborative leadership in support of the College's mission. The Council accomplishes this by supporting its constituency in the following ways:

Providing a venue for open, informative communication

Networking within the RRCC campus community

Identifying and sharing personal and professional development opportunities
- RRCC opportunities are generally sent to staff via email. Some are also found on HR's Training and Development webpage.
- CCCS professional development opportunities may be found here.
- The Colorado State Employee Assistance Program (CSEAP)
- Additional websites you might check out: Innovative Educators, The Chronicle of Higher Education, College Board, and NASPA
- Lastly, don't forget about Employee Tuition Assistance/Reimbursement! Staff may take up to 15 credits each semester (30 per academic year) at any of the 13 Colorado community colleges. RRCC also offers an employee book stipend.
