Student Government
Red Rocks Student Government
The Student Government is comprised of Red Rocks students who represent the student body in a variety of capacities, including serving on college committees and advisory groups. Student Government members must be enrolled in at least six credit hours, maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5, and be committed to attending weekly meetings and other government-related activities.
All students are welcome to our hybrid meetings every Thursday from 4:15-5:15 p.m. in Grays room #1571.
Our meeting minutes are located in Fox Life under Student Government.

MEMBERS & OFFICERS:
If you are interested in becoming a member you must attend two meetings in a row during the current semester.
If you are interested in holding an officer position like President, Vice-President, Secretary, or Public Relations you must be a member. If elections are open you can apply to any position.
ELECTIONS:
Elections are held at the end of the spring semester each year in April.
Student Government activities and projects include:
- Allocating student fees to campus groups for student-related projects
- Researching and funding campus improvements
- Instructor of the Year election
- Participating in events like Welcome Night
- Chartering student clubs and funding some of their activities
- Participating in leadership training programs
