About Me: I was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado.  I have always been passionate about the outdoors and sharing that passion with others.  I attended the RRCC Outdoor Program and graduated in 2013.  I went on to attend Fort Lewis College in Durango, where I received a B.A. in Adventure Education.  My time in Durango sparked my love for winter sports, where I got into backcountry snowboarding and mountaineering.

Throughout my career in the outdoor industry, I have worked for many different outdoor organizations including Outward Bound, Naturalists at Large, City of Durango, Camp Thunderbird, Experiential Learning Associates, Durango Nature Studies, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Creek Adventure Program, and Mile High Rafting.  My time working with these organizations has shown me how critically important it is to protect these beautiful places.

Hobbies: Camping, backpacking, snowboarding, stand-up comedy, and reading

Favorite Quotes: “Leave it as it is. You cannot improve on it. The ages have been at work on it, and man can only mar it. What you can do is to keep it for your children, your children's children, and for all who come after you…”– Theodore Roosevelt (Referencing the Grand Canyon)
