Berndt Savig
Berndt Savig has been a professional painter and sculptor for over 30 years. He has owned and operated Boulder Sculpture since 1996 and has completed numerous private and public sculptures. He has had numerous one-man shows and has participated in group and invitational shows throughout the country.
Becoming a faculty member at RRCC spring, 2005, since that time he has taught art history, art appreciation, visual elements 3d design, sculpture I, II, and III, sculpting the figure, painting, history of the graphic novel, drawing for the graphic novel, sculpting for digital media, and mask making.
He studied art in Italy, Parson’s school of design in New York, CU, and received a BA from UNC in Colorado. He received an MFA from USM in Hattiesburg, MS with a major in painting and drawing and a minor in sculpture.
