Red Rocks Community College Expands Mental Health Support to Students

Partnership with virtual care leader, TimelyCare, offers 24/7 equitable access to well-being resources

LAKEWOOD, CO – (October 9, 2024) - Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) has partnered with TimelyCare, a trusted higher education virtual health and well-being provider, to offer students free and equitable access to mental health support. The partnership is an extension of campus health and counseling center resources, with a goal of improving student well-being, engagement, and retention. 

To provide our students with convenient support, RRCC students can access a variety of virtual care options through TimelyCare directly from their phones or devices. This service is free and eliminates the constraints of traditional insurance, ensuring that help is always readily accessible. Available services include: 

• On-demand mental health and emotional support
• Appointment-based mental health counseling (up to sixteen sessions each academic year)
• Digital self-care content

The partnership with TimelyCare allows RRCC to deliver a hybrid model of care in collaboration with on-campus resources. Benefits to students include convenient 24/7 mental health care, reduced wait times, diverse provider network, and peace of mind.
