Location: State Forrest State Park
Description: Bid farewell to summer and start the semester right with the first Fall 2024 trip of the Red Rocks Adventure Program! Backpack the backcountry of the beautiful Colorado wilderness and learn skills such as how to properly pack for multi-day trips, set up backcountry shelters, and outdoor cooking. No previous experience needed, must be able to carry a 55lbs pack for up to 8-10 miles, over rugged terrain. Rated moderate to hard. Trip includes necessary gear, food, transportation and instruction.
