The Red Rocks Community College Library is excited to host our first annual multidisciplinary competition to encourage new scholarship and creative work, Kaleidoscope. We invite all students to participate and submit an original (new or existing) work interpreting this year’s theme, Colorado. 

WHAT: Explore, interpret, and creatively represent the theme of Colorado, whatever that means to you! 

WHO: Currently enrolled Red Rocks Community College students in all fields of study. 

AWARD: There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. In addition, the 1st and 2nd prize works will become part of the permanent collection and displayed at the Red Rocks Library (Lakewood or Arvada campus). First place prize also includes a $500 tuition voucher. Second and third place prizes will be announced closer to the date. 

WHEN: The deadline for entries is April 1, 2025; winners will be announced at an award reception in late April 2025. The contest will open January 23, 2025.
